Majorities of Americans regardless of party affiliation would rather discuss something besides politics this Thanksgiving. According to a recent Quinnipiac University poll, 57% of Republicans, 64% of Democrats, and 63% of indendents responded that they are hoping to avoid discussing politics while visiting with family or friends this Thanksgiving.
