PURPLE: Fund Social Security; Don't Raise the Normal Retirement Age

Republicans, Democrats, and Independents agree on more funding for Social Security and oppose raising the normal retirement age from 67 to 70. According to a recent YouGov poll, 57% of Americans - including 66% of Democrats, 54% of Republicans, and 53% of independents - want more funding for Social Security. Another 21% of Americans want to keep the current level of funding. A recent Quinnipiac University poll revealed that 78% of Americans - including 81% of Democrats, 77% of Republicans, and 75% of independents - oppose raising the Normal Retirement Age for Social Security from the current age of 67 to age 70.
