According to a recent Quinnipac University Poll, Americans approve 64 - 28 percent of the Biden administration's decision to resume sales of leases for drilling oil and gas on public lands to increase oil production with the goal to offset rising gasoline prices. There is agreement about this decision across party lines as 77% of Republicans, 62% of Independents, and 57% of Democrats approve.
