According to a Quinnipiac University poll, 82% of Americans believe that Russian President Vladimir Putin is a war criminal. This strong opinion crosses party lines with 81% of Republicans, 79% of Independents and 91% of Democrats agreeing. With such strong agreement across party lines, we rate this as AMETHYST.
The same poll also found that 71% think Putin ordered troops to kill civilians in the war. This opinion also crosses party lines with 74% of Republicans, 66% of Independents, and 83 % of Democrats agreeing.
