AMETHYST: Extremism from within the U.S. is a bigger threat than from outside

77% of Americans think extremism from within the country is the bigger threat to the United States rather than extremism from another country, according to a recent Quinnipiac University poll. This sentiment is shared across political lines with 80% of Democrats, 71% of Republicans, and 80% of independents agreeing. With such strong support, we rates this as Amethyst.
