Political divisions have gotten to the point that people are concerned over an increased risk of politically motivated violence in this country, according to a Washington Post - ABC poll. 88% of Americans are concerned including 95% of Democrats, 87% of Republicans and 86% of independents, resulting a rating of AMETHYST (deeply purple). The portion of the population that is very concerned is lower but still rates as PURPLE as a majority of Americans regardless of party are very concerned.
