Earlier this month U.S. President Joe Biden met with China’s Xi Jinping with Xi agreeing to take steps to crack down on companies that produce chemical precursors for fentanyl. According to a recent Economist/YouGov poll, Americans across party lines believe this agreement is a good thing, with 90% of Democrats, 84% of Republicans, and 85% of independents saying the agreement is a good thing.
